STā Architecture Named British Homes Awards 2026 Finalist

The Carreg Las residence, British Home Awards finalist

We’re proud to share that STā Architecture’s Carreg Las project was named a finalist in the New House of the Year (over 2,500 sq. ft.) category at the 2026 British Homes Awards.

The project was recognized for its sensitive yet innovative approach, combining two distinct architectural identities while creating a home that feels deeply connected to its surroundings. Reaching the finalist stage among an exceptional field of entries is a wonderful recognition of the creativity, design excellence, and thoughtful architectural work behind Carreg Las, and we’re delighted to celebrate this achievement with our team and clients.

Hospitality is Having a Moment

Hospitality design is no longer simply about creating a beautiful lobby or selecting the right finishes. Today’s successful hospitality environments must create an experience from the moment someone arrives.

That means thoughtful circulation. Memorable gathering spaces. Efficient operations. Strong identity. And architecture that makes people want to stay awhile.

STā brings experience across commercial, residential, planning, and development projects to hospitality environments where design, functionality, and the surrounding community all need to work together.

Did you know?

According to the American Institute of Architects’ July 2026 Consensus Construction Forecast, hotel construction spending is projected to increase 4.6% in 2026 and another 5.2% in 2027, making hotels the strongest-performing traditional commercial sector in the forecast.

Meanwhile, lodging Econometrics reported 6,020 projects representing more than 705,000 rooms in the U.S. hotel construction pipeline at the end of Q1 2026, with more than 2,000 combined conversion and renovation projects in the pipeline.

STā can help bring that opportunity into focus.
